Empowering Rhode Islanders to Thrive
When the bills won’t wait and the callbacks are slow, you don’t need a lecture—you need a plan. Free 1:1 coaching, fast job training, and real support to help you land work with dignity.
Who We Are
We help Rhode Islanders get back to work — with free 1:1 coaching, fast job training, and dignity-first support. No shame. No lectures. Just a plan, real tools, and people who walk with you until the first interview, the first paycheck, the first deep breath.
Our Story
TalentOne started with a simple promise: no one should have to navigate unemployment alone. We saw neighbors choosing between rent and groceries, parents skipping meals so kids could eat, and talented people losing confidence after months of applications.
So we built something human—a place for coaching without judgment, training without tuition, and support without shame. Today, our work is local and personal. We listen. We plan. We walk with each person until the first interview, the first paycheck, the first deep breath.

About Our Founder
Melissa Kashouh founded TalentOne with a clear belief: people aren’t problems to be fixed—they’re neighbors to be supported. A long-time talent strategist and community advocate, Melissa built TalentOne to restore dignity in the job search and make career help accessible to anyone who needs it.
She leads with faith, compassion, and grit—and a deep commitment to Rhode Island families. Every program we launch is designed to reduce food, housing, and job insecurity, one household at a time.
